At Skilldizer, we believe in creating a professional, efficient, and seamless learning environment for both tutors and students. To make sure that everything runs smoothly, we maintain a strict attendance policy. 🎓✨

Tutors are expected to attend their scheduled classes on time ⏰. Missed classes can affect your profile’s "Attendance Rate" 📉. Here's how we handle missed attendance and the consequences for not showing up.


🚨 Reporting System for Missed Classes:

Skilldizer makes it easy to track missed classes. If a tutor misses a class:

  1. Automatic Reports: Our system automatically logs missed attendance. 📊

  2. Instant Notification: Tutors will receive a notification whenever attendance is reported as missed. 📩


🔴 Consequences for Missed Classes:

⚠️ First Report:

  • Your profile will be temporarily hidden from the "Find a Tutor" list until you respond. ❌

  • You’ll receive a notification, and you can reactivate your profile by clicking the link in the email! ✔️

⚠️ Second Report:

  • Your profile will remain hidden for 7 days. ⏳

  • After 7 days, you can update your status to "allow class requests from all students". ✅

⚠️ Third Report:

  • Your profile will be hidden permanently from the "Find a Tutor" list. 🚫

  • New students cannot book classes with you for 30 days (Upcoming classes are safe). 📅

  • Your wallet will be frozen for 30 days. 💳

  • Skilldizer staff may cancel upcoming classes if there's no response from you. ⚡

⚠️ Fourth Report:

  • Deactivation for 30 days! Your profile will be completely deactivated. ❌

  • Your wallet will be frozen. 💰

  • All upcoming classes will be canceled and refunded to students. 💸

⚠️ Fifth Report:

  • Permanent suspension of your profile! 🚫

  • You’ll lose access to all account features and funds in your wallet. 💳

  • Skilldizer staff will review the situation, and legal action may be considered depending on the severity. ⚖️

To avoid all the consequences above, we recommend:

  • Clear communication ✉️: Keep your students and Skilldizer support informed.

  • Update your availability regularly 🗓️: Let students know when you’re available, and make sure you’re able to keep up with your schedule.

  • Respond quickly to messages 📨: The more responsive you are, the smoother your experience will be!

  • Be punctual ⏱️: Show up for your classes on time, every time, and you’ll keep your profile in good standing.
